Jag n\u00e4rmar mig m\u00e5leriet p\u00e5 samma s\u00e4tt som jag l\u00e4ser en plats i mitt arkitektoniska arbete: med lyh\u00f6rdhet f\u00f6r sammanhang, historia och det som redan finns. Mina arbeten b\u00e4r sp\u00e5r av minnen fr\u00e5n resor, m\u00e4nskliga m\u00f6ten, kulturarv och naturens st\u00e4ndigt skiftande rytm genom \u00e5rstiderna. Jag fascineras av hur arkitektoniska strukturer \u2013 fr\u00e5n traditionella bos\u00e4ttningsm\u00f6nster till lokala byggnadstraditioner \u2013 sm\u00e4lter samman med himlens, vattnets och vegetationens f\u00e4rger. Landskapet, ljuset och livets avtryck i terr\u00e4ngen pr\u00e4glar b\u00e5de uttrycket och tekniken i mitt m\u00e5leri. \u00c5krar, skogar och sj\u00f6ar p\u00e5verkar mina val av f\u00e4rg, form och komposition, p\u00e5 samma s\u00e4tt som ett platsbundet projekt formas av sitt sammanhang.
