I first started painting while traveling and watercolor was the perfect portable medium. I felt the need to record the lives and the many stories. I prefer seeing things in “colorshapes”, breaking images down into pieces, like puzzle pieces. Designing the individual pieces shape, value, and hue and working it so that they fit together.
