Watercolor is my favorite medium, spontaneous, free, unpredictable, full of surprises. I often take pictures when traveling or visiting friends and even from my workplace. I worked as a biochemist many years in a research laboratory.  Over the years I have had the privilege to learn from expert watercolor artists (Joseph Zbukvic, Chien Chung Wei, Bernhard Vogel, Ingrid Buchtal and many more). My favorite landscape for watercolors has been the Landmannalaugar area in the Icelandic highlands at the beginning of a marvelous hiking trail.
